Description of the Kiova blackberry and planting of bushes

You can plant seedlings twice a year:

  • in spring – when the soil is completely warmed up;
  • in the fall – until the onset of the first frost.

Bushes should be at least 150 meters apart.

Disembarkation takes place as follows:

  1. At the bottom of the planting pit, it is necessary to pour out a special drainage in the form of small stones or in the form of clay fragments.
  2. A young bush is placed in the center of the pit.
  3. Sprinkle the plant with young soil. It is advisable to mix the earth together with organic fertilizers.
  4. The soil needs to be slightly compacted near the root collar, and then watered with water.

These are simple rules for planting blackberries that are very easy to handle.

Watering the bushes should be done only when the top layer of the earth is completely dry. The frequency and abundance of watering must be determined independently, because it all depends on the weather conditions.

Reproduction of this variety occurs in a vegetative way – by rooted shoots. To plant them, as already mentioned, you need to either spring or autumn, and preferably in warm weather.

The bushes do not require special care. It is enough to adhere to the standard gardening rules: do not forget to feed the plant, monitor the condition of the shoots and the soil.
