King, Queen

«King, Queen» is one of the background trainings popular in Sinton and commonly practiced at Sinton summer camps.

The training begins with the signal «Rise!» and ends with the procedure at the evening gathering. Throughout the day, unless specific training requires otherwise, you are His Majesty the King (Her Majesty the Queen). You live with this inner feeling of the highest dignity, you walk and sit like a King: with a straight royal back and a radiant smile. In order not to forget about your training task, put on a badge on which it says: “King” or “Queen”. On one day, both two participants (the Royal Couple, that is, a young man and a girl), and one are possible.

There are two modes of passing this training.

Mode 1: Inner Royal Dignity (Traveling Prince or/and Traveling Princess)

You are a traveling royal person: you have no real power in a foreign kingdom, you have only your royal dignity, otherwise you are equal with all the people around you. The only thing that outwardly distinguishes you from the crowd is a radiant smile and royal posture.

The task of this mode is the ability to be and feel like a king in any situation. Maintain inner and outer dignity and behave like a royal person, even if no one pays attention to it. Not to «play» the King, but to be him internally.

Royal role options are Idol and Patron.

Mode 2: Government (In King Arthur’s Court)

For the period of the training, the entire Camp becomes yours, Your Majesty, the courtyard: all those around you are your subjects, you address them as your subjects, and from this role they answer you: “Yes, your majesty!” and «You are beautiful, your majesty!» (and this is their training).

Objectives of this mode:

• The wisdom of government.

Will you, Your Majesty, be able to be a wise and just ruler for your subjects and will your bright eyes be clouded with discontent, and your mind with prejudice in relationships?

Will you be able to achieve authority among your subjects? What makes the Kings (Queens) popular and loved by the people? Find a form of communication with subjects that is neither familiar nor formal.

• The ability to maintain posture.

The physical aspect of this training is a challenge to scoliosis, lordosis and kyphosis combined. Some people who have completed this training still manage to keep their back straight!

• Social responsibility

Some Kings care not only about their own importance, but also about their Kingdom. Will you be able to do something necessary and real for the people around you during your reign? The leader of the day, as your Prime Minister, can help you with this.

At the evening gathering, after (or as) feedback, the grateful (or how it will turn out) People can proclaim your Nickname with which you will remain in history (for example, «Ivan the Plain» or «Elena the Red Sun»).
