Kim Protasov’s diet: video reviews
Israeli nutritionist Kim Protasov first told the world about the diet he had developed in 1999 and immediately gained a huge following. Its development gives good results and, most importantly, relieves dieters from hunger – the main enemy of all weight loss systems.
Power supply system according to Protasov
The duration of Kim Protasov’s diet is 5 weeks, during which the main food will be raw vegetables and 5% fermented milk products without preservatives – yoghurts, kefir, unsalted granular cottage cheese or cheese. In addition, you can eat 1 hard-boiled egg and 3 green apples a day. Sugar is excluded in any form, and liquids should be drunk at least 2 liters per day in the form of coffee and tea, preferably green.
Vegetables and dairy products can be eaten in any form: gnaw a turnip or carrot just like that, cut a vegetable salad, chop a boiled egg there and season with low-fat kefir, stuff tomatoes with cottage cheese, etc. Imagination and a wide selection of vegetables will help the adherents of “shuffle” to compose a varied menu for every day. In this case, the amount of lactic acid products should not exceed the amount of vegetables by weight.
Vitamin A is not assimilated by the body without fat, therefore, carrots, in which it is contained in large quantities, are best consumed in the form of a salad with yogurt
Starting from the 3rd week, 300 g of boiled or baked lean meat, chicken or fish are introduced into the diet, while the amount of lactic acid products is reduced accordingly. You can still eat raw vegetables as much as you want, with the exception of high-starchy corn.
Sports activities are very conducive to weight loss: even walking for half an hour at a brisk pace helps burn calories stored in the body in the form of subcutaneous fat reserves. Weight loss is especially intense in the last 2 weeks of the diet.
To maintain the achieved results, it is better to permanently give up fried potatoes, chips, sausages and other foods with added preservatives.
You should also leave the diet within 5 weeks. In the sixth week, you can add 2-3 tablespoons of porridge boiled in water for breakfast, while reducing the fat content of lactic acid products to 1-3 percent. In the 7th week, apples are replaced with other fruits, except for high-calorie bananas, grapes, raisins. At the 8th week, you can introduce dried fruits into the diet, and at the 9th week, boiled vegetables, except for potatoes and corn.
From the 10th week, it is allowed to consume low-fat broth and ordinary foods in small quantities
Advantages of the Protasov diet
Unlike most diets, which require strict food restrictions, “shuffle” relieves its followers from the constant feeling of hunger. The abundance of fibrous plant food allows you to improve the work of the intestines, and eggs and lactic acid products will become a source of the amount of animal protein necessary for normal life. The lack of sugar and high-carbon foods stabilizes the pancreas. Followers of the Protasov diet get used to healthy food and in the future easily refuse fatty, sweet and flour dishes.
“Shuffle” is not suitable for those who have diseases of the gastrointestinal tract: gastritis, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, etc.
