“Kilikia” is a light amber Armenian beer with a thick fine-grained foam, rich taste and hop bitterness. The drink is named after the eponymous medieval state of the Christian East of Cilicia, which was located between Byzantium and the Arab Caliphate.
Historical reference. Since 1997, beer under the brand name “Kilikia” has been produced by the joint-stock company “Yerevan beer”. This is a modernized and reorganized Yerevan brewery founded in 1952.
Kilikia beer is produced mainly in glass bottles. Only one kind of it is canned beer. In total, Kilikia produces 12 types of beer. In the domestic market of Armenia, the drink occupies a leading position. The company also exports products to Poland, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia, Ukraine, Georgia, Australia, France and the USA.

Types of beer Cilicia
“Kilikia” Light No. 11 4,6%
The beer has a slight bitterness, a pleasant light golden hue and dense foam. Produced since 2004. On sale it is presented in two types – in half-liter glass bottles and small bottles of 330 ml.
Cilicia Youth 4,8%
The bitterness of hops is noticeable in the aftertaste. Ideal with barbecue and other meat and fish dishes, classic appetizers. Made with water from mountain springs. Produced since 1999.
“Kilikia Festive” 5,3%
This type of beer was produced specifically for the 2002th anniversary of the founding of the Yerevan Beer factory. Produced since XNUMX. The taste is sweet-malty, honey with a taste of caramel malt and hoppy floral notes. The foam is fine-grained, settles slowly.
Cilicia Jubilee 5,1%
Released for the 50th anniversary of the manufacturer. The flavor base is predominantly malty. The aroma has a bitter smell of malt with hints of hay inclusions. It has a sweet-dry aftertaste.
Cilicia 1952 4,8%
Created for the 60th anniversary of the Yerevan Beer Factory. The aroma is not very pronounced, but original, with a hint of fruit candy. The taste is honey-fruity with a long aftertaste.
Cilicia dark 4,4%
The peculiarity of this beer is in the smoked taste and unusual aroma. The foam is stable, the aftertaste is bitter.
Hayer 4,9%
One of the new Cilicia beers. Produced since 2008. The taste is rich, in the aroma shades of flowers and herbs. Holds a thick head of foam in the glass for a long time.
Cilicia elite 5,6%
Honey sweetness is harmoniously combined with dense hop bitterness. Color – golden.
Zhigulevskoe 4,8%
Fragrant pasteurized beer of golden color, produced by a special technology, has a pronounced hop aroma, slightly floral with hints of herbs. The aftertaste is long, bitter. The foam is fine-grained, very dense, settles gradually. Produced since 2003.
Cilicia 4,8%
It has a moderate hop bitterness and a classic beer aroma. This is one of the most popular types of beer from Kilikia.
Cilicia light 4,5%
On the palate, a bright hop shade. In the light, the drink is transparent, light golden. The foam cap lasts for a long time, has a thick rich structure. Produced since 2004.
Cilicia 4,8%
Canned beer of light golden color with a rich taste of malt and pronounced hop bitterness.
