Sponge cake is a light, airy dough, indispensable for making homemade baked goods. Desserts of varying complexity are prepared from biscuit dough – from rolls and cookies to multilayer cakes. The basis of a delicious biscuit is eggs, which are supplemented with butter, high-quality flour and sugar, and in some cases – sour cream or kefir.

Kefir sponge cake turns out to be delicate in taste, porous and soft. Plus, it cooks quickly and requires fewer eggs to bake. It is important to carefully observe the proportions of the products indicated in the recipe and mix them well – you can use a mixer for this.

This quick dessert looks very impressive, and it takes just half an hour to prepare. Thin doughs are baked quickly, and the decoration can be varied by replacing the chocolate with icing or cream.

You will need: – 1 glass of kefir; – 1,5 cups of wheat flour; – 50 g of butter; – 3 eggs; – 1 glass of sugar; – 1 teaspoon of soda. – Vegetable oil for lubrication.

For the filling: – 0,5 cups of thick jam; – 100 g of chocolate without additives; – 2 tablespoons of cream.

Beat the eggs with sugar until the crystals are completely dissolved. Melt the butter and add to the egg mixture along with the kefir. Sift flour, mix with baking soda and add portions to the total mass. Stir the dough thoroughly until smooth and pour it onto a greased baking sheet.

Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 200 ° C and bake the cake for 10-15 minutes. The finished biscuit should rise and acquire a beautiful golden color. Carefully remove the crust from the baking sheet and cool on the board.

Cut the biscuit into equal rectangles or squares. Grease half of the blanks with jam and cover with the remaining halves. In a saucepan, melt the chocolate with the cream and pour the icing over the cakes. Let the chocolate harden and serve the biscuits for tea.

Sponge cake can be baked not only in the oven, but also in a slow cooker – it will turn out to be tender and fluffy. Sprinkle the finished product with coconut, pour with jam or decorate with cream. But even without additional flavors, the baked goods will turn out to be very appetizing.

You will need: – 0,25 cups of wheat flour; – 2 eggs; – 0,5 cups of sugar; – 0,25 cups of kefir; – a pinch of salt; – 0,5 teaspoon of baking powder; – 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil; – sugar dusting powder.

To make the biscuit more crunchy, you can add a tablespoon of potato starch to the dough.

Beat eggs with sugar and kefir, then add butter and flour mixed with salt and baking powder. Mix everything and pour into the multicooker bowl. Set the bake setting for 45 minutes. After the end of the cycle, check the biscuit by piercing it with a toothpick. If there are no traces of dough left on it, the dessert is ready. Put the sponge cake on a wooden board, cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
