In what cases is kefir-fruit diet used for 1 day
During a vacation or a series of holidays, extra pounds are quickly gained – a familiar situation? How to get yourself back to normal? It is the kefir-fruit diet for 1 day that can help to lose extra pounds, and it is not at all difficult to withstand a single day with menu restrictions compared to long-term diets.
The second option, when a one-day kefir-fruit diet will help, is the freezing of weight on any long-term diet, when the body gets used to calorie restriction and the weight hangs at a dead center for several days. But at this moment, the volumes go away, and your favorite clothes already fit, but psychologically it is perceived extremely painfully.
The kefir-fruit fasting day is characterized by a wide variety of choices. You can choose those fruits, vegetables and berries that we love more – pears, strawberries, cherries, watermelons, peaches, apples, apricots, tomatoes, plums, quince, cucumbers, avocados – almost everything will do (you cannot only grapes and bananas).
Requirements of a kefir-fruit diet for 1 day
For a kefir-fruit fasting day, you will need 1 liter of kefir with a fat content of 1% and up to 1 kg of any fruits, berries or vegetables except grapes and bananas. In addition to kefir, you can use any non-sweet fermented milk product – yoghurt, tan, fermented baked milk, whey, koumiss, yogurt, ayran or another with the same fat content (40 Kcal / 100 g), it is permissible with dietary supplements.
Although the diet is called kefir-fruit, any vegetables and berries are allowed – tomatoes – you can, cucumbers – too, a piece of watermelon – please, and strawberries, and cherries, and carrots, and cabbage – any berries and vegetables are allowed. Salt and sugar are not allowed.
During the day, be sure to drink at least 1,5 liters. water, ordinary, non-mineralized and non-carbonated – you can use ordinary, green, herbal tea.
The classic menu of the kefir-fruit diet is based on kefir and apples – these products are always available at every step. You will need 1 liter. kefir and 4 apples, better green, but you can also red.
Every 2 hours you need to drink a glass (20 ml) of kefir or eat an apple, alternating kefir and apples. The fasting day begins and ends with kefir.
At 7.00 the first glass of kefir (200 ml), at 9.00 we eat an apple, at 11.00 yogurt, at 13.00 an apple, at 15.00 kefir, 17.00 an apple, at 19.00 kefir, at 21.00 the last apple and at 23.00 the remains of kefir.
The time intervals can be either increased or decreased within 1,5-2,5 hours (for example, at lunchtime or before bedtime). You can skip any meal – it will not affect the result.
Menu options for kefir-fruit fasting day
In all versions, a different composition of products is used and it is possible to choose according to your taste preferences.
1. Kefir-fruit diet for 1 day with cucumbers and radishes – in the menu for 1 liter. add kefir 2 medium-sized fresh cucumbers and 5-7 radishes. Compared to the traditional menu, instead of an apple, we eat a cucumber or 2-3 radishes in turn. Alternatively, you can make a salad from vegetables (do not salt, if you do not climb at all, you can add a little low-calorie soy sauce).
2. Kefir-fruit diet for 1 day with cabbage and carrots – to 1 l. add kefir 2 carrots and 200-300 g of cabbage. As in the previous version, instead of an apple, we eat carrots and cabbage salad. You can also make a salad for the whole day from carrots and cabbage (do not salt, in a pinch, you can add a little soy sauce).
3. Kefir-fruit diet for 1 day with kiwi and tangerines – add 2 kiwi and 2 tangerines to the menu. Every 2 hours we use a glass of kefir, kiwi, tangerine. We start and finish the day with a glass of kefir.
4. Kefir-fruit diet for 1 day with tomatoes and cucumbers – add 2 tomatoes and 2 medium-sized cucumbers to the menu. Every 2 hours we use a glass of kefir, tomato, cucumber.
5. Kefir-fruit diet for 1 day with currants and pears – add 2 pears and 1 glass of fresh currant berries (you can also use any other berries – except grapes). Every 2 hours we use a glass of kefir, a pear, half a glass of currants.
6. Kefir-fruit diet for 1 day with peaches and nectarines – add 2 peaches and 2 nectarines to the menu. Every 2 hours we use kefir, peach, nectarine in turn.
Contraindications for kefir-fruit diet
The diet should not be carried out:
1. in the presence of lactose intolerance in fermented milk products. If you have such an intolerance, then we carry out a diet on lactose-free products
2.during pregnancy
3.with deep depression
4.if you have recently had surgery on your abdominal organs
5.during breastfeeding
6. in diabetes
7.with high physical exertion
8.with hypertension
9.with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract
10.with heart or kidney failure (dysfunction)
11. in pancreatitis
12. with bulimia and anorexia.
In some of these cases, a kefir-fruit fasting day is possible with a preliminary medical consultation.
In any case, it is necessary to consult a doctor before starting a diet.
Advantages of kefir and fruit fasting day

- The effect of weight loss in women during critical days may be somewhat less.
- Kefir is not produced in all countries, then for the diet we use other fermented milk products with a fat content of up to 2,5%.
Repeated kefir-fruit fasting day
To maintain weight within the required limits, it is enough to spend a kefir-fruit fasting day once a week. If desired, this diet can be carried out day after day, i.e. first we spend the fasting day, the next day the usual diet, then again the kefir-fruit unloading, the next day again the usual regime, etc. (similar to the striped kefir diet).
