Error codes of PMM Kaiser

Initially, you need to exclude a system failure and try to reset the error. How to do it:

  • unplug the PMM plug from the socket;
  • wait 10-15 minutes;
  • restart.

If, after a reboot, the code is again displayed on the screen, you need to look for a breakdown. If it disappears, continue operating as usual.

Error codeValueCauses of appearanceHow to fix the problem
E1There is no door lock signal.
  • The hopper door is not fully closed.
  • Lock damaged.
  • The wiring between the board and the blocking is broken.
What to do if you see error 001:
  1. Close the chamber door tightly.
  2. Check the lock for serviceability, if necessary, install a new element.
  3. Inspect wiring for damage. Replace loop.
E2The water intake time has been exceeded.Why are the icons on the screen lit:
  • Insufficient pressure in the water supply for normal operation of the dishwasher.
  • Solenoid valve failure.
  • Clogged intake hose, filter.
How to fix the situation:
  1. Turn off the tap and check the presence of water, pressure. If there is no water, wait until the connection is restored.
  2. Check the shut-off valve: it may be closed.
  3. Check valve diagnostics. The electronic part is checked with a multimeter. The working element should show from 2000 to 5000 ohms.
  4. Disconnect the inlet hose from the PMM body. Look for debris. Pull out and clean the mesh filter.
E3Time exceeded for draining water.What happened:
  • Drain filter clogged.
  • Pump impeller blockage.
  • Clogged drain hose, siphon, sewer.
What to do:
  1. Open the chamber door, remove the drain filter from the tray, clean it under running water.
  2. Remove the pump cover, inspect the impeller for blockage.
  3. Disconnect the drain hose from the housing, inspect and clean from blockage. Do the same with the siphon and sewerage.
E4The pressure switch signals the overflow of water.The reasons:
  • Intake valve defective.
  • The pressure switch has failed.
  • The electronic module burned out.
How to fix:
  1. Check fill valve. In the event of a failure, the part cannot be repaired, only replaced.
  2. Diagnose the level sensor. It is also carried out with a multimeter: attach the probes to the sensor contacts. If the resistance smoothly drops to 0, the element is working. Blow into the pressure switch tube. If no clicks are heard, the sensor needs to be replaced.
  3. Only the master can determine the breakdown of the module and perform repairs.
E5The temperature sensor is defective.There may have been a short circuit:
  • the heater;
  • temperature sensor;
  • connecting chain.
Need to check:
  1. TEN. It is usually located at the bottom of the dishwasher, in the circulation pump assembly.
  2. Thermistor. In case of breakage, the element must be replaced.
  3. Wiring loop. If burnt parts or broken insulation are visible, change the wiring.
E6Thermistor circuit is broken.All parts that control water heating are checked: heating element, temperature sensor, wiring.Replacement of defective elements.
E7Closed the heating circuit.Short circuit of the temperature sensor circuit.It is better to contact the service center.

Now you know what the symbols on the display of the Kaiser dishwasher mean. The sooner you start troubleshooting, the sooner you fix the breakdown and return the equipment to working capacity.
