Jovesto is an antiallergy medicine that does not make you feel sleepy. It soothes allergies and fights its symptoms, which include hay fever, allergic reactions in the eyes (lacrimation, redness), nose and palate. It is used to treat skin allergies (so-called urticaria). It comes in the form of tablets or a solution to be taken by mouth.

The active substance is desloratadine. Lek Jovesto it is taken in the form of tablets or liquid. The most common dose of the drug Jovesta is 2,5 ml daily (children 1-5 years old) and 5 ml daily (children 6-11 years old). Application of Jovesto requires consultation with a doctor or pharmacist in the case of pregnancy or planning, as well as breastfeeding, but usually in such cases the treatment with this drug is abandoned.

Jovesta also comes in the form of tablets. The tablets are intended for adults and children over 12 years of age. Application time Jovesta in tablets is determined by a doctor and, as a rule, depends on the length and severity of allergy symptoms. Contraindication to the use of the drug is allergy (hypersensitivity) to any of the ingredients or to loratadine.

It is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
