We are happy to announce that the journalists of our website won the “Medical Journalist of the Year 2019” competition in the internet category, while Medonet received the honorary title of the Great Educator.
Awards for MedTvoiLokony journalists
Aleksandra Lipiec and Magda Zmna have been recognized in the internet journalism category. Both journalists took 2019nd place ex aequo in the Medical Journalist of the Year XNUMX competition. The prizes in the competition are awarded “in recognition of the high educational value and journalistic reliability in tackling difficult health-related topics based on the latest scientific medical knowledge”.
He was also awarded Medonet website, which was awarded the honorary title of the Great Educator «For honestly informing Internet users about the need to take care of health – according to the latest knowledge – and for presenting difficult medical topics in an accessible way».
Aleksandra Lipiec is a laureate of the Medical Journalist of the Year 2019 competition
Aleksandra Lipiec is an editor at Medonet and Onet Zdrowie. He has been working in online media since 2015. She graduated in Polish philology as well as e-editing and editorial techniques at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. She has worked in scientific publishing houses, local media and Wirtualna Polska. He belongs to the Journalists for Health Association.

Magda Olejna is a laureate of the Medical Journalist of the Year 2019 competition
Magda Zmna is an editor at Medonet and Onet Zdrowie. He has been dealing with medical issues for two years. She started her career in a local weekly and worked in Wirtualna Polska. In 2019, she was awarded a distinction in the national competition for journalists called “Kryształowe Pióra”. He belongs to the Journalists for Health Association.

Medonet as Clean Air Ambassador
These are not the only awards that the editors of MedTvoiLokony have recently won. In December 2019, we received the honorary title of Clean Air Ambassador for joining the fight for cleaner air in Poland, while the winner of the competition for Clean Air Ambassador in the internet category was the editor-in-chief of the website Anna Zimny-Zając.
Medical Journalist of the Year competition
The National Medical Journalist of the Year Competition is organized by the Journalists for Health Association. Journalists dealing with health issues take part in the competition. The prizes are awarded in four categories: press, radio, television and the Internet. The aim of the competition is to promote a healthy lifestyle and educate the public about civilization diseases.
