Jerk from behind the head — technique exercises:

  1. Exercise helps to practice the snatch with a barbell. Place barbell on back of shoulders. Feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart. Socks slightly outward, as in position for squats.
  2. Start to descend by bending your knees. The jump will unload the rod, apply the torso under the neck, hold the bar overhead on outstretched arms, perform a full squat.
  3. Return to starting position.
