Jerk from behind the head — technique exercises:
- Exercise helps to practice the snatch with a barbell. Place barbell on back of shoulders. Feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart. Socks slightly outward, as in position for squats.
- Start to descend by bending your knees. The jump will unload the rod, apply the torso under the neck, hold the bar overhead on outstretched arms, perform a full squat.
- Return to starting position.
