Another European country has decided to stop vaccination with AstraZeneca. The Italian Medicines Agency decided on Monday to temporarily suspend vaccination with AstraZeneca throughout the country. The issued announcement stated that this decision was made as part of a preventive measure.

The Italian agency has announced that it is waiting for the European Medicines Agency to take a position on the AstraZeneca vaccines. As she pointed out, her decision is consistent with the regulations issued in other EU countries.

This is how he referred to the fact that the use of this vaccine from one of the series was suspended in Piedmont on Sunday after a 57-year-old teacher died in the city of Biella following its administration. The case is now being investigated, as are two previous deaths in Sicily. A 43-year-old soldier and a 50-year-old policeman died there after being vaccinated.
Vaccination with the company’s product was blocked in Italy on a day when the number of people fully vaccinated against the coronavirus exceeded 2 million. A significant acceleration of the vaccination campaign has also been announced.
