It’s so beautiful that it’s a pity to drink: 30 unreal drawings on coffee

A barista from South Korea has created a new art form: cream art. Seoul is worth a trip just for this latte!

“So cute,” and we shoot a cup of cappuccino with a heart made of milk foam for our Instagram stories. Coffee shops, where baristas know how to draw on coffee something more complicated than leaves and hearts, become popular only because of them. For example, one of the cafes in St. Petersburg offers to paint your own portrait on foam. Aren’t you afraid to face the coffee truth? Order! But this master took the art of drawing on coffee to a new level. Korean barista Lee Kang Bin is engaged in cream art: he himself came up with this direction.

“You cannot buy happiness, but you can buy coffee,” – Lee Kang Bin made this statement his motto. On coffee, he can draw anything: from a copy of Van Gogh’s famous Starry Night to a plot from a Disney cartoon. Instead of a canvas, he has a layer of snow-white milk foam. Instead of paints – colored cream. Edible, of course. Well, if suddenly your hand rises, there is such beauty.

“I wanted to preserve the taste of good coffee and at the same time add a little beauty to it, give people new experiences,” says Lee Kang Bin.

The creative barista still has no competitors, although he generously shares his art and even teaches beginners.

“Preparing a cup of painted coffee can take a minute or two hours. But usually I create any drawing on average in 10 minutes, ”says Lee Kang Bin.

The most popular drawing is Van Gogh’s Starry Night. However, the portraits of visitors also appear on the foam. True, it takes more time. But what can you not do for the sake of vanity! And we have collected some great examples of Korean cream art: which one would you choose this morning?
