The World Health Organization believes the outbreak of the novel coronavirus is a pandemic. This has just been announced by WHO Director-General Tedros Adan Ghebreyesus.

“We have come to the conclusion that the COVID-19 disease can be regarded as a pandemic,” Ghebreyesus said at a briefing in Geneva.

It also just became known that eight new cases of coronavirus were recorded in the Moscow region per day: six in the capital and two in the region. This was announced by the operational headquarters.

In this regard, from March 13, Russia temporarily restricts air traffic with Germany, Spain, Italy and France.

A pandemic is the spread of a disease on a global scale. At the same time, earlier Gebreyesus stated that the coronavirus pandemic could become the first in history that can be controlled.
