Inventum – action
In the case of Inventum, the properties are due to the presence of sildenafil. It is a substance belonging to type 5 phosphodiesterase inhibitors. Thanks to this, the preparation supports the relaxation of blood vessels and at the same time increases blood flow to the penis. This allows you to get an erection – but only after prior sexual stimulation.

As for Inventum, the leaflet provides indications for use. The preparation is intended for adult men who:
- cannot get an erection,
- cannot keep an erection.

Inventum – composition
In addition to 25 mg of sildenafil, the active ingredient of Inventum, the drug contains:
- Potassium polacrylin;
- Purified Water;
- magnesium stearate;
- Colloidal anhydrous silica;
- Aspartame;
- Croscarmellose sodium
- Peppermint flavor;
- Lactose Monohydrate;
- Powidon K-30.
Inventum – dosage
The Inventum leaflet indicates the following dosage:
- 1 tablet should be taken about 60 minutes before the planned start of sexual intercourse.
The tablet should be crushed and chewed until dissolved. There is no need to wash it down with water. It is not recommended to exceed the daily dose.
If you take Inventum with a meal, the onset of action will be noticeable later than when you take the tablet on an empty stomach.
Inventum – contraindications to use
Inventum must not be used in patients:
- hypersensitive to any component of the preparation;
- with heart disorders (ischemic disease, unstable coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure NYHA class II, III or IV);
- with impaired liver function;
- after a stroke or heart attack;
- with known loss of vision due to ischemic optic neuropathy;
- with genetic degenerative changes in the retina;
- With low blood pressure (90/50 mmHg) or hypertension (170/100 mmHg);
- Inventum cannot be taken by patients who use nitrates, nitric oxide releasing drugs, anti-ischemic drugs, amyl nitrates or amyl nitrates in the form of stimulants.
In addition, the drug cannot be taken in men who do not have erection problems. It is also not intended for women.
Inventum – warnings and precautions
The warnings regarding the use of Inventum are mainly:
- the drug contains lactose monohydrate, therefore patients with lactose intolerance should be careful when taking the drug;
- One must be careful with the increased risk of priapism;
- the drug cannot be taken in case of other treatments for erectile dysfunction, penile deformity or Peyronie’s disease;
- the preparation may cause visual disturbances and dizziness, therefore caution should be exercised when driving vehicles, operating machinery / equipment;
- If the patient experiences problems with the heart muscle, the dosing regimen of Inventum should be determined with a urologist or cardiologist;
- Patients with stomach ulcers or a blood clotting disorder (haemophilia) should also talk to a doctor before purchasing Inventum.

Inventum – interactions with other drugs
The preparation cannot be used while taking drugs that release nitric oxide or contain nitrates (e.g. nitroglycerin, isosorbide mononitrate). Before starting treatment, inform your doctor about all preparations you are taking – including those over the counter. In addition, the doctor should be informed if you are taking medications such as:
- Protease inhibitors for the treatment of HIV infection;
- Blocking agents that are used to treat high blood pressure or an enlarged prostate.
Inventum a alcohol
If we want to take one dose of Inventum, we should not drink alcohol, which may have a negative effect on the drug. If we want to maximize the effects of Inventum, we should give up alcohol. We can use aphrodisiacs to increase sexual arousal.
Inventum – side effects
With Inventum, some patients may experience side effects. Most often, however, they are mild and short-lived. Possible side effects include wheezing, difficulty breathing, seizures or fits, and prolonged and painful erections.
Most often, however, patients experience headache, nausea, or noticeable reddening of the face associated with a sudden pressure surge.
Inventum – how to store the drug?
It is best to keep Inventum out of the reach of children in its original packaging so that it does not reach the sun’s rays. After the expiry date, do not take Inventum. It’s best to ask your pharmacist where to throw away expired packaging.
Inventum – price and availability
Inventum tablets are triangular in shape, convex on both sides. One side is embossed with the sign “25”. The package contains 2, 4 or 8 tablets. Inventum can be purchased at a pharmacy or via the website. We will pay about PLN 14 for a package with four Inventum tablets.
