Mission to be a leader.

I’m not interested in genius. My job is to do what I can every time — in the best possible way, and how someone will appreciate it … God bless them.
What is your mission in psychology?
You may be surprised, but there is still no practical psychology. Not created. There are many talented practitioners, everyone works in their own way, but there is no established system, common concepts, methods and standards of work. There are no textbooks on practical psychology, there is no such subject in psychology departments. But everything that appears in life is created by someone’s hands. I take this as my task — to create a system of practical psychology in Russia.
What is your strongest professional trait?
Stability. Courage. Probably willingness to cooperate. I don’t have the highest opinion of my personal abilities, there are many people who are much more educated and talented than me, but my real strength is that I am a stayer. Stayer is a long-distance runner. In a short distance, many will overtake him, but if you need to run far, everyone gradually leaves the distance, and the stayer is ahead. I can work for a long time in the chosen direction and very intelligent people gather around me. And the team always manages to do more.
What training areas, topics are you personally interested in now?
They say, no matter what kind of samovar they make in Tula, they all produce Kalashnikov assault rifles. What training programs I do not develop and do not lead, everything turns out — about leadership. That is, not to sit back, but to go forward, turn on your head, organize people — and do everything that you want to do.
Do you think the day will come when you will get tired of training?
Tired? No, It is Immpossible. Perhaps the day will come when I will be more passionate about something.
What is the most important result of your training for you?
Result. That is, not mood, not emotions — it is our participants who receive something as a matter of course, but simple and working knowledge and skills. Culture is what remains when everything else is forgotten. So is training — it can be forgotten, but new skills needed in life should remain with you.
Which of your alumni testimonials do you remember the most?
Meshchera, summer 2007. Feedback from a not-so-young man, an experienced entrepreneur: “You teach how to live and run a business like a human being. Looking at you, I believed that it was possible!”
How do you think the participants of your trainings perceive you?
A man in his place. Passionate, businesslike.
Do students tell you about their life changes? If so, which story do you remember the most?
People say very simple things. “Remember, Nikolai Ivanovich, I was nothing for two years? No work, no personal life. And now I have everything: my husband, and work, and all my favorites. All thanks to Sinton!” Or: “Before you, no one could prove to me that cooperation is possible in business. And now we have agreed with my main competitor in the city, we are doing a common project. This is the result of your Business Standard training.
What qualities should a good coach-psychologist have?
Energy is to charge people with joy, health is to work stably, the habit of thinking and developing is the main skill that we pass on to people.
What kind of training would you like to take yourself?’
Training Synton-program, what it will be in 10 years. If only with one eye!
Do you do anything else in your life besides training?
From morning to evening I write PsychoLogos: an encyclopedia of practical psychology. Come in!
And at home, in the family, do you also use psychological “tricks”?
Do you also write well at home? I don’t know what psychological «things» are, I’m looking for ways to get around the difficulties, if they arise, and build relationships as they should. Joyful, warm, meaningful. And this is what I’m always looking for.
At home and at work — do you behave the same way or differently? What are the differences?
At work, I’m more tolerant.
And — if possible: some photos of your favorite animals, things, places on Earth (with a caption).’
To animals, unfortunately, indifferent. I love the sky and people.
The sky in Evpatoria — photographed by myself, my favorite desktop background. And before my eyes, on the wall — photos of my parents and family.
