Intermittent fasting, pros and cons, consequences

Scientists have explained when to eat to feel more alert and look your best.

Sometimes it seems that the whole world is busy only with food. They think what to eat for dinner, calculate the calories. Therefore, scientists are carried away by this problem – how and what to eat in order to improve their quality of life. And this is what nutritionists have recently discovered.

It turns out that the best time to eat is from 10 am to 18 pm. It is important that breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks all fit within this eight-hour window. The break between the last meal today and the first meal the next day should be at least 14 hours. And better – 16. And they explained why.

1. You will sleep better

If you do not overload the stomach at night, it will be easier to fall asleep, and the sleep will be deeper. The body will not work all night on digesting food, and in the morning you will wake up refreshed and rested. And most importantly – you will want to have breakfast! After all, many sin by the fact that in the morning they cannot cram in themselves anything more serious than a cup of coffee.

2. You will look better

Wrinkles, bruises, bags under the eyes – all this will remain in the past. And not only because you will get better sleep. Also because in the mode of intermittent fasting – and this is it – fluid from the body is removed more efficiently. And since there is no excess water, then there is no swelling or bruising under the eyes.

3. You will get rid of bloating

Nutritionists advise to eat only when it’s light outside. They argue that all systems of our body are “sharpened” to work exactly during daylight hours. Therefore, the last time in the day you need to eat 2,5 hours before bedtime, not later! If your stomach works at night, chances are good that your best friend will be bloated the next day.

4. You will lose weight

This, of course, is not the most important thing. But pleasant, to be sure. In the 16-hour interval between meals, the body burns fat very effectively. And if you consider that at least half of this time you sleep, then such fasting is tolerated quite easily.

And by the way, there are only two disadvantages to intermittent fasting. First, you have to eat dinner at work. That is, to carry food with you in a container. Secondly, you will need to figure out what to do in the evening. After all, we so often eat before bed, not because we really want to eat, but simply from idleness.
