Moreover, modern technologies and materials allow you to make the interior design of a wooden house in any style. Log houses: interior design options
If a log in a log house is of good quality, even and beautiful, it is polished and coated with tinting compounds. They do not hide the texture of the wood, but on the contrary, make it clearer. Moreover, this solution fits into different styles, the design is modern and harmonious.
Wood is often tinted to give it a light, almost white color. It is rarely white. Sometimes with a pinkish, sometimes with a beige tint, the color of cream or baked milk. Light logs create a special atmosphere. See the photo below for examples of such interiors.
In general, many solutions are built on contrasting colors. In log houses, it is standard or clarified wood and dark furniture, or vice versa – dark-tinted wood in combination with light furniture.

Log house with a masculine character
If you are attracted to something more non-standard, check out the following photos. The best way to create a non-trivial home is to emphasize the natural flaws of the wood. In this technique, this effect is given by dark tones. The main thing is not to overdo it and not make the room too dark.
Just don’t be fooled. Deliberate negligence requires a very subtle calculation and thoughtful selection of colors. You have to try more than once or twice: each wood requires its own tone and even the way it is applied. If you want to create something similar, first practice on some scraps of materials used in the decoration, select colors. Having achieved the desired effect, repeat on another piece, consolidating the technique. Then you can try in the interior.

Interior of a bedroom in a log house
The bedroom should be chamber, cozy. Everything in it should be conducive to relaxation. And most often, bedrooms are made in calm, light colors, inserting only a few color accents.
The design techniques are the same: contrasts and playing with the texture of wood. There are many contrasts in the interior in the photo above: in addition to two colors, the uneven relief of the walls and the geometrically clear shapes of the furniture are also opposed. And the non-linear structure above the window is contrasted with the smooth surface of the floor.
Another bedroom design option that plays with contrasts: rounded and sharp lines, matte light wall surfaces and shiny dark brown silk bedspreads. Textiles can emphasize a lot. Softens everything with a light green accent – pillows and candles, plants in pots.

In the nursery, pure tones usually prevail. Everything must be strong, safe and beautiful. Safe – this is just about wood: carefully processed, it is silky to the touch. Please note that the logs are not painted over. They are coated with water-based paint or impregnation. It does not hide the pattern of wood, almost does not smell when applied, and even more so after.
The interior of the house from a bar
With a bar, everything is both simpler and more difficult. Easier – the surface is almost linear, it fits into modern trends much easier. But, on the other hand, such a wall is not much different from a well-finished brick or concrete one. The way out is to emphasize color or texture. Very interesting interiors are obtained. Especially in combination with ceiling beams.
And again contrasts: colors, textures, shapes. The main task is to unite and beat everything. The creamy tones of the timber on the walls are repeated on the ceiling, in textiles and on lampshades. Wood, silk leather are the most elite materials. Behind the restrained lines of this interior, confidence and stability are guessed.
Classic is far from everything that can be implemented in rooms finished with timber or a material that imitates timber – a block house. A lot of different trends can be implemented in such houses.
Despite the fact that wood usually creates an intimate atmosphere, spacious rooms finished with timber, with an abundance of light and space, are no less attractive.

The main thing is to understand what is closer to you, and based on this idea, first select the colors of the walls, floor, ceiling, and then, in the resulting room, select furniture and accessories.
Most of the wooden walls suggest a wooden ceiling. In the photo below – an exception – an absolutely smooth surface at the top emphasizes the texture of the walls.
