Often the thirst for novelty forces us to buy everything that comes to hand. But what’s the matter? The items collected under one roof, which seemed so cute in the store, declare a real stylistic war on each other. Take a closer look at the work of professional decorators and draw the appropriate conclusions.
Interior in white
London is known for its rainy weather. And this is not a myth at all – the British, like us, yearn for sunshine. That’s why designer Alison Fagen-Bed decided to make the interior of her apartment light and reminiscent of travel to hot countries. She chose white as the main background: the floor, walls and ceiling are completely white. The furniture in the living room is also white. The armchair and pillows with exotic plants from the Once collection printed on the fabric are bright color spots. Alison herself photographed southern nature during her travels in Australia and New Zealand. On the wall she hung a huge panel with a print depicting the seaside sands.
The window opening in the kitchen has been widened and turned into a door that now opens onto the garden. The hostess liked the white and translucent closed crockery shelves, as well as the dark wood-colored cabinets with black lacquer. In the center is a light oak table. The image of large leaves of a tropical plant is reproduced on the fabric of Roman blinds. Thus, the interior decor has turned out to be original and integral.
