Interior decor from autumn leaves

Woman’s Day tells how easy it is to decorate your home with fallen leaves, twigs, acorns, ears, nuts and other gifts of nature.

Candles will create a pleasant romantic atmosphere in any interior, especially in the cold season. In autumn, this decorative element can be decorated with leaves fallen from trees, wreaths of flowers, acorns or cones. And if you want to make a particularly original composition, then put a candle in a glass vase, and put berries or leaves on the bottom (see the photo below).

An elementary decoration that even a child can make is a garland of autumn leaves strung on a string. It can be hung over a doorway or on a wall. A more complicated option – take a string, attach autumn leaves to it, alternating them with decorative pumpkins or other autumn fruits.

Pumpkin is one of the best fall fruits for creating an interesting composition. The main thing is to get creative with the design. For example, you can cut a funny smiley or flowers on it, or you can draw a beautiful drawing with ordinary paint.

You can make crafts from acorns and decorate your house with them. Or go an even simpler way: put the fruits in a beautiful vase and put it in a prominent place.

Corn cobs can also be used for interior decoration. Several unpeeled ears tied together can turn into a vase. Another option for corn decor is a garland of cobs, which are hung on a rope interspersed with dry leaves.

Viburnum, lingonberry, rosehip or mountain ash berries in a transparent vase or glass are the most popular decorators’ technique. And it is not surprising: such a composition looks very elegant and does not require much work in its creation.

To compose a floor composition, first select a suitable container for it; it can be a beautiful planter, a dish, a fruit box or even a cart. Use autumn fruits as items – pumpkins, zucchini, onions, as well as dried flowers and even potted plants. Do not be afraid to dilute autumn colors (yellow, orange, burgundy, green) with bright accents (for example, blue or purple).

Even one leaf perfectly conveys the splendor of crimson autumn. Choose the most beautiful copies, dry them between the pages of books and arrange them in narrow vases, jugs or colored glass bubbles. Now you can admire the bright colors until spring.

Sheaves of ears can be tied with beautiful country-style braid and placed in the corners of the apartment. Small bunches of dried fragrant herbs (lavender, mint, basil) suspended from a kitchen bracket, as well as braids woven from onions, will become a decoration of the kitchen.

Orange persimmons on branches will decorate any room – as well as branches with tangerines. Such a snag can be made by attaching the fruits to simple branches found in the park (just choose thicker branches so that they do not break off under the weight of tangerines and persimmons). The composition can be supplemented with branches of evergreen laurel, armfuls of which are sold in any eastern market.

An original vase for a bouquet is obtained from pumpkin and a head of cabbage, or you can simply decorate autumn fruits (pumpkins, zucchini, squash) with flower heads. Autumn chrysanthemums and dahlias are best suited for this.

However, the usual composition of a vase with flowers and a pumpkin lying next to it looks very stylish.

In a vase, not only branches with berries and leaves look great, but also with acorns. An unusual solution is a glass vase with water in which lemons are dipped.

An autumn arrangement can be made even without leaves and branches. The compositions in the photo used nuts purchased in a store. Using regular glue, stick the fruits together and place them in a branch frame. Another option is to make a pyramid out of nuts and put it in a small vase.

Berries and cones are also used as decorations for decoration. They can even decorate a gift for a close friend by gluing them to paper or tape.

To begin with, select the fruits, carefully illuminate the hole in each of them and draw a dense thread. Such forest “beads” will become a bright accent of any interior.

To decorate the festive table, make a composition of the gifts of nature: place candles of different sizes on a wooden board, lay out twigs and dried fruits. A napkin tied with a velvet ribbon, under which an oak leaf gracefully flaunts, will help to decorate each guest place.

Fruit of yellow, orange and burgundy shades will be an excellent decoration for any table. The best part is that they can satisfy their hunger at any time.

Garlands can be made not only of leaves, but also of cones, acorns, berries and even vegetables. The easiest option is to glue the fruits to each other, place them in a basket and hang them on the wall.

To create an autumn composition, you will need dry herbs, twigs with leaves and berries and, of course, dried flowers. A significant plus: such a bouquet can stand until next fall.

And, of course, you can’t do without fresh flowers in the interior! By the way, for a bouquet it is not necessary to pay huge sums in the store, it is much cheaper to buy it from summer residents. Well, who can refuse you?
