Avid sports fans are among the extroverts – such a connection was established by scientists from Duke University (USA).
If someone close to you is a big fan of sports broadcasts, most likely he belongs to the number of extroverts – open, energetic, sociable people. Such a relationship was established by scientists from Duke University (USA), comparing the preferences of 293 TV viewers with their personal characteristics*. Less pleasing is the fact that TV fans are especially pronounced such inherent extrovert traits as the susceptibility to “herd mentality” and the inability to be bored. Fleeing from boredom, they are constantly looking for strong impressions, they are attracted to crowded and noisy events, as well as risky situations.
