Did the fourth wave scare the Poles? We don’t have good news

Indeed, it might seem that the specter of the fourth wave and the announcements of experts, according to which we will face difficult pandemic times, should encourage undecided Poles. It would be a natural situation. The imminent threat could heighten fear and convince those who are still hesitant to take care of their health and protect themselves from the severe mileage caused by the Delta variant.

But is it really so? To find out, we look for information at the source, i.e. the hotline of the Ministry of Health, where you can sign up for the COVID-19 vaccination. When asked if there are more calls in recent days, we hear that the number has not changed for several weeks. No significant increases are observed.

The same applies to the availability of dates for vaccination against COVID-19. It turns out that you can make an appointment overnight. There is no question of waiting for a vaccine for two weeks.

So there is no increased traffic on the hotline, appointments are available at your fingertips, which means that there are no floods of new vaccinees.

However, in order to have it all in black and white, we also turned to the Ministry of Health with a request for figures. We have not yet received an answer at this point.

Vaccinations against COVID-19 in Poland. What were the last days like?

At the moment, however, we can use the official data that the Ministry of Health makes available on the gov.pl website every day. We learn from there that on September 10, 34 thousand. 433 vaccinations against COVID-19.
