Interaction (eng. interaction, lat. inter — between and actio activity) — a term used in social psychology and cultural studies; denotes the interaction, mutual influence of people or the impact of groups on each other as a continuous dialogue. In the social psychology of J. Mead, interaction is direct interpersonal communication (“exchange of symbols”), the most important feature of which is the ability of a person to “accept the role of another”, imagine (feel) how he is perceived by a communication partner (or group).
