Infacol

Infacol is a drug used to relieve flatulence and colic pain. The active substance of the drug is simethicone, which is a silicon compound. Simethicone improves the absorption of gases through the intestinal wall and removes gases from the gastrointestinal tract as a result of peristaltic movements. The suspension is intended for children from 1 month to 6 months of age. The preparation is in the form of an oral suspension and is available without a prescription.

Dosage

Infacol is a suspension for oral use. The contents of the dropper should be squeezed onto the child’s tongue. Do not exceed the recommended dose of the preparation as it may pose a threat to your life or health.

Contraindications to taking Infacol are:

  1. thyroid dysfunction,
  2. bowel obstruction,
  3. constipation.
