Expectations: Maybelline Brow Mascara is the first brow product I got my hands on a little over a year ago, when wide and natural brows became a trend.

Reality: why not? The product resembled mascara, differing only in an unusual brush. Color and gel in one bottle – convenient for those who do not want to make a bright outline and do without an eyebrow pencil.

This remedy immediately won my heart. Easy to apply, dries quickly, eyebrows are defined and … fashionable! Everything looks as the trend calls for: natural, natural and at the same time very neat.

Evaluation: 10 out of 10. After many brands started mass-producing eyebrow mascara, I came to the conclusion that Maybelline’s eyebrow mascara is in no way inferior to luxury products.

The Russian brand Mi & Co, based in Kirov, fell in love with almost at first sight. Crazy about their lavender fluid. I also love floral waters, the brand has a whole collection of them. The next step is hair care products.

Expectations: hydrolat, or, in other words, flower water, is an irreplaceable thing in my cosmetic bag. I use it as a tonic for my skin after cleansing. On especially hot days, when you don’t want to overload the skin, they will replace my moisturizer as well. I have already tried lavender hydrolat, but my favorite is neroli flower water. In action, it is very similar to lavender: it is suitable for sensitive skin prone to oily content, relieves irritation, and has an antibacterial effect. A separate bonus – suitable for skin with rosacea (just my case).

Reality: unfortunately the bottle is very small – only 50 ml. True, it is enough for me for a little more than a month. For 340 rubles, this expense suits me perfectly. Neroli hydrolate has a delicious floral scent, while the scent of lavender water is more like some kind of medicine. I spray the hydrolat 10 centimeters from my face and then work the moisture in with my fingertips until it is completely absorbed. The skin is instantly matte and the pores are tightened. For two months of use, the amount of inflammation has decreased markedly. But, I think, here is the merit not only of water, but also of the lavender fluid of the same brand, which I apply immediately after the hydrolat. The night ritual is complete without a moisturizer. However, sometimes after spraying water, a tightness effect is felt. Therefore, owners of dry skin would not recommend using neroli hydrolate.

Evaluation: 10 out of 10 – for the healing effect, economical consumption and reasonable price.

– Give your face a natural glow and a healthy glow to your cheekbones? To look perfect without having time to get pretty boring tonal means? Maybe! If you have the right highlighter at your fingertips. Having once tried Vivienne sabo, I was convinced once and for all: the price does not depend on the quality at all.

Expectations: Well, what can you expect from a product for 300 rubles? Open the package, smear your face and calm down on that.

Reality: unpretentious packaging misled me in vain. The blush fits perfectly on the cheekbones and perfectly accentuates them. The same can be said for the highlighter. A few strokes of the brush – and voila! You say you slept badly today? I do not believe! You look great. The effect of applying a highlighter lasts throughout the entire working day. Here’s 300 rubles for you!

Rating: 12 from 10… The tool has done an excellent job of its task and is inexpensive.

– I’ve known the Chistaya Liniya brand for a long time. When the brand first entered the market, I even tried out their hair care line. But with the cosmetic line of this brand, my relationship somehow did not work out. Until recently. When, while testing the waterproof mascara for our regular column, I faced the problem that none of the permanent makeup products helped to remove the mascara that was firmly stuck to the eyelashes, I took a bottle of Pure Line lotion out of desperation. Honestly, I didn’t expect any result, I just wanted to get rid of the makeup. And a miracle happened!

Expectations: there were no big expectations. I just wanted the product to cope with long-lasting makeup.

Reality: a bottle of 100 ml is very convenient to use and allows you to use the product very economically, because in one pressure the cotton pad gets exactly as much as needed. The smell of the product was also pleasant (not pronounced, neutral). The product has a creamy white texture, easily and gently removes makeup, does not cause allergic reactions, is suitable for all skin types and does not leave greasy marks. After using the product, the skin remains soft to the touch, not tight and without peeling. As a bonus – a nice price that is available to any representative of the fair sex.

Evaluation: 10 out of 10, excellent product for its price.

– I have always dreamed of matte, even and radiant skin. Finally, my wish came true. I had never tried oils for facial skin before, but when I saw L’Oréal, I decided to try it. I was delighted. And this despite the fact that it cost only 435 rubles.

Expectations: the extraordinary face oil “Luxury of Nutrition” is a magic remedy! As written in the instructions, the oil contains eight essential oils: lavender, rosemary, geranium, orange, rose, marjoram, lavender and chamomile.

Reality: all these ingredients really make the skin perfect and hydrated. It is especially good to use it in autumn and winter.

The bottle is only 30 ml. But it will be enough for a long time, because 2-3 drops are enough for one application. The oil is immediately absorbed, instantly feeling tenderness and comfort on the skin.

I applied the product every morning and evening after cleansing the skin and before applying makeup.

At first I thought it was somehow delusional to apply oil before applying makeup. Although oil does not leave a greasy film, oil is oil and it will still be shiny.

Oh, how much I was wrong! Having tried, for the sake of experiment, to apply oil before makeup, I was delighted. Makeup lay down as lightly and smoothly as ever. It was amazing! The feeling of comfort did not leave me all day.

Evaluation: 10 out of 10. I give the product a solid 10 points! Now this oil is my little secret. I will never part with him. I highly recommend this miracle to you. I’ve never been so happy with my skin in my life.

Expectations: Tony Moly has a whole line of these masks: moisturizing, nourishing, brightening, whitening – you can choose one for a sample or take a pack right away, as I do.

Reality: The method of application is obvious: apply a mask on a clean face, spread it, keep it for 20-30 minutes. Then it is recommended to massage the face with light patting movements until the remnants of the mask are completely absorbed into the skin. I keep the mask longer than the prescribed time, until I get bored. After that, my skin looks like I’m sleeping for 8 hours, eating exceptionally healthy food and breathing the country air.
