Increased muscle tension in children – what does it show?

The baby is 13 months old and does not want to stand or walk – what can it be?

My son is 13 months old and he doesn’t want to stand or walk. I have been going for rehabilitation with my son since I was 4 months old. The son has increased muscle tension and the asymmetry of the right side, at the moment he moves on his bottom on the floor, and when he wants to get up, he is as if he was kneeling. The physiotherapist said that her calves were weak. All research is good! Thank you for your response.

The symptoms of your son described by you indicate neurological disorders, or cerebral palsy or neuromuscular disease. Since there is no articulated question in the description, I will answer intuitively.

If the child was referred for rehabilitation at the age of 4 months, it means that the pediatrician saw the abnormalities and had reasons to refer the child there. He must have talked to you about it. My guess is that the baby was also diagnosed by a neurologist and the diagnosis is made? If not, it is absolutely necessary to plan further treatment.
