In an interesting way, the Pinheads Pizza pizza chain (Dublin) decided to draw attention to the establishment. Pizzeria owner Anthony Kelly decided to create the largest pizza in Ireland. The dish reached 32 inches in diameter (i.e. more than 80 cm).
To advertise the novelty, Anthony decided to arrange a pizza challenge. According to its terms, for a certain time period, equal to 32 minutes, it is necessary to eat this huge pizza.
In addition to pizza, the order also includes 2 milkshakes. The award wins – the winner not only does not pay for the pizza, but also receives 500 euros.
Initially, the owner of the pizzeria Anthony Kelly intended to give the lucky man 50 euros and a free pizza, but over time it became clear that the task was extremely difficult, so the size of the prize was increased.
More than 100 people have already tried to conquer this peak, but many of them could hardly absorb a quarter of the pizza.
The establishment allows contenders to choose the pizza toppings on their own, however, the participants argue that the most difficult thing to absorb is not the filling, but the dough itself, since it is very fluffy.
In addition to the cash prize, the winner’s photo will be posted on a special “Wall of Fame”, which, unfortunately, is currently empty.
