Improper bodybuilding nutrition.
Proper nutrition – the matter is quite delicate. Especially if a person is engaged in physical activity. Proper nutrition is necessary so that athletes can keep their bodies in good shape, as well as to achieve the necessary results during training. In order to create a beautiful muscular body, you must adhere to certain subtleties of nutrition. Everyone understands perfectly well that for this, an increase in body weight due to body fat should be avoided, a beautiful figure is achieved by building muscle mass. It is precisely in order to avoid body fat that many bodybuilders first make mistakes in nutrition. Let’s try to consider the main ones.
Opinion is commonthat fatty foods lead to obesity. In fact, fats can affect weight gain, but not all. And their complete exclusion from the diet, on the contrary, negatively affects the human body. When consumed excessively, carbohydrates and proteins are also deposited in the form of subcutaneous fat, so you should not complain exclusively about fats. And the use of fats in the amount of 10-20% of the total daily diet will allow not only not to increase body weight, but also to maintain health.
Beginners are confident that in order to build the necessary mass, they do not need to take additional protein. Sports enthusiasts believe that protein is the mainstay of the diet of those who aspire to become a prominent bodybuilder and shape the body on a par with Arnold Schwarzenegger. And for a small change in muscle mass, a normal diet is enough. And again a mistake. In the case of a lack of protein in the body, muscle building is completely impossible.… And the required amount of protein without unnecessary calories can be obtained only with the use of sports nutrition. Therefore, for any type of exercise, an athlete should pay close attention to proteins.
Three meals a day Is another common mistake bodybuilders make. For three meals a day, it is impossible to “cram” all the necessary calories into oneself without damage to the stomach and the body as a whole. Large portions of food are much more difficult to digest, so it is better to eat less, but more often. This is the key to the success of all athletes.
Starvation – a way to quickly lose unnecessary calories. Undoubtedly, with fasting or a limited amount of food, it is much easier to lose weight, but this is only on condition that there is no physical activity. Otherwise, restricting food is not a way out. And losing weight due to a hungry diet is not a long-term phenomenon. Fasting is highly discouraged for athletes, as it entails depletion of the body. And for bodybuilders, exhaustion is threatened with loss of strength and ineffective training. Even in the case of overeating, fasting the next day is unnecessary as a way of unloading. You just have to immediately return to the usual diet and the body will independently cope with the excess calories received the day before.
And one more important note for bodybuilders – remember that you cannot do without appropriate sports nutrition. Only thanks to him it is possible to maintain the required amount of substances for the necessary physical activity and keep the body in good shape.
