II Gastronomic Days of the Orange

The Orange and the Clemenules mandarin, celebrate their gastronomic days with several restaurants in the province of Castellón.

The Gastronomic Days of Orange and Clemenules 2015 They will take place from today, Friday, January 16, until next March 29, in several municipalities that treasure a common characteristic, the production of citrus fruits on their lands.

In this its second edition, the Castellón Provincial Council As organizer of the exhibition, it seeks once again to help disseminate and promote local fruit and specifically this variety of oranges and mandarins.

Through culinary developments and practical application in the restaurants and hospitality businesses of the participating municipalities, very succulent recipes will be offered whose ingredient or complement will be one of these fruits, olto Orange or the Clemenules.

Each town will occupy a strip of each month to show its creations to visitors through the participating establishments, in order of participation we detail them below:

  • Nules: From January 16 to February 1.
  • Burriana: From February 2 to 15.
  • Moncofa: From February 16 to March 8.
  • Xilxes: From February 16 to March 8.
  • La Llosa and Almenara: From March 9 to 29.

Almost forty hospitality establishments (39 restaurants) are the ones that in this edition will delight us with their elaboration of a menu consisting of first, second and dessert, where the protagonist will be the orange.

Enjoy all the flavor and color of orange in these winter days in one of the most citrus areas of our national geography.
