If decided seriously: how to give up coffee

Coffee lovers will be upset by the fact that coffee to some extent interferes with the process of losing weight – it retains fluid in the body and provokes the formation of cellulite. This last argument is a common reason for the decision to quit drinking coffee. How to do this if you cannot imagine your day without a cup of aromatic drink?

It is important to remember that the habit is developed for at least 21 days, so please be patient and remember that the urge to drink a cup of coffee will weaken every day.

Reduce the amount of coffee gradually

To begin with, allow yourself to drink 1 cup of coffee daily – already from reducing the amount of caffeine, you will feel the effect. But abruptly quitting the habit of drinking coffee in the morning is very difficult. For several days, get used to the idea that you will have to part with coffee.

 

Discover the taste of green tea

In terms of caffeine content, green tea is not inferior to, and even exceeds, coffee. Therefore, to wake up in the morning, brew some fragrant leaves and enjoy the taste. During the day, do not refuse to drink green tea – it can be consumed hot or chilled with lemon as an alternative to lemonade.

Don’t forget the chicory

Chicory, although not as toning as coffee, at least reminds of your favorite coffee taste. Chicory is very beneficial for the body, digestion in particular, which additionally contributes to weight loss.

Choose a vitamin complex

Usually a sluggish state, chronic lack of sleep can be associated with a lack of vitamins. Maybe that’s why you are too addicted to coffee? The minimum is vitamins A, C and E, which will improve the appearance and give vigor. Ideally, a multivitamin complex that needs to be repeated every 3-6 months.

Add glucose

Ditching both coffee and sugar is a tricky step that is more likely to lead to breakdowns. Plus, glucose will give you extra energy, making it much easier to quit coffee. Of course, choose healthy sweets, and in the future try to refuse them, you will be healthier.
