The easiest and most effective way to decorate a balcony is to force and hang it with flowers. In the summer, take out all indoor plants to fresh air – this will only benefit them.

A more seasonal option is summer flowers in containers, which are now sold in any hypermarket: Begonia, marigolds, geraniums, petunias, etc.

You can place them on an external window sill, attach to the wall (only very firmly) or hang from the outside of the balcony. Do not forget about hanging flower pots with flowing flowers – for example, along the edges of the balcony door. So much for a blooming garden!

And don’t forget the look of the planters and pots. The more fun and varied they are, the better. You can paint the pots yourself, wrap them with ropes and decorate with pebbles, shells, and various applications.

And you can use unexpected objects as pots – vases, cups, clay bowls, tin buckets, watering cans and other unnecessary containers.

Plastic containers with flowers can be placed in old boxes, painted them bright colors and attached to them with funny signs with inscriptions.

Vertical gardening is the latest trend in landscape gardening. The walls of houses all over the world are overgrown with dense grass. So why not join the process!

To create a green wall, climbing plants are suitable: from perennials – maiden grapes, ivy, from annuals – various legumes – ornamental beans, peas (why not?), etc.

They grow quickly and require little maintenance. All they need is abundant watering and good support.

To do this, attach hooks at an equal distance from each other and pull them vertically, along the wall, fishing line or rope.

Street turntables are very popular in Europe. There are colorful flowers and stars on almost every balcony.

Why not take advantage of this idea – to the delight of the children and the envy of the neighbors? There is also a noisier option – various “breezes” – designs of sticks and tubes that ring from the wind. But if you are not sure about the loyalty of your neighbors, it is better to hang them on a country terrace or porch. As experts of feng shui assure, such “breezes” bring good luck to the house.

Our loggia becomes inhabited, which means that you will want to be on it at any time of the day or night – for this you need lighting.

It is not necessary to bother with electrical wiring. Take a closer look at LED lamps and solar-powered lamps, they last a long time and consume little energy. Well, the classic version is candles.

Just so that they do not go out in the open air, you will need special closed candlesticks to protect the flame from rain and wind. Decorative lanterns in which ordinary tealight candles are placed will also create a romantic atmosphere.

To finally settle on a balcony or loggia, you need furniture.

For gatherings, use stools, folding chairs and a miniature (preferably plastic) table. A more expensive option is wicker furniture.

It is easier to decorate a glazed loggia, because this is a closed room, which means that you can use any design techniques here: hang colorful curtains, put a carpet on the floor, put any furniture that fits in size, decorate the walls with photographs.

And who’s stopping to turn the loggia into a cozy wardroom? Nautical style perfectly suited for the design of such a room where there is a lot of sun and sky.
