An ice maker is an indispensable device in any bar where a large amount of ice is needed. Today, a bar without ice is unimaginable in principle.
Ice Cube Machines
The ice maker produces edible ice that bartenders use to prepare various drinks. Usually bottled, bulk or clean tap water is used for ice. Different ice machines produce ice in different shapes, but the bar mostly uses ice in the form of cubes. The approximate weight of one cube is 15-35 g, and this shape is suitable for any glass.
It is worth noting that the ice made in the icemaker is exceptionally transparent, without turbidity and bubbles (of course, the quality of the water in this case plays an important role).
If you notice ice in your glass that does not meet these criteria, then in front of you is ordinary ice from a freezer with water from an unknown source, which may contain quite serious diseases. In general, Whisk does not recommend drinking a cocktail with such ice.
