Ibuprofen Hasco – composition, action and applications

Ibuprofen Hasco is a general non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and analgesic drug, available in the form of soft capsules.

The composition of the medical preparation Ibuprofen Hasco

The active substance in Ibuprofen Hasco is ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) from the propionic acid group.

Action of the drug Ibuprofen Hasco

Ibuprofen Hasco has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic properties. The active substance of the drug inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins, i.e. substances formed during the development of inflammation. Ibuprofen contained in the drug reduces swelling, lowers the temperature and stops the clumping of platelets. However, it does not have an antibacterial effect.

Indications for the use of Ibuprofen Hasco

Ibuprofen Hasco is used to relieve pain of mild or moderate intensity of various origins. It is helpful in migraine pain, toothache, bone pain, muscle and joint pain, neuralgia, pain after contusions and injuries, and with pain associated with colds and flu.

Ibuprofen Hasco can also be used to relieve menstrual pain and to reduce fever in the flu, colds and other infectious diseases.

Ibuprofen Hasco is also used symptomatically in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

Contraindications to the use of Ibuprofen Hasco

Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation is a contraindication to the use of Ibuprofen Hasco. Ibuprofen Hasco cannot be taken by people who are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid, i.e. to aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Ibuprofen Hasco is not indicated in patients suffering from gastric or duodenal ulcer disease and gastrointestinal ulceration.

Ibuprofen Hasco should not be used in case of gastrointestinal bleeding episodes, even after the condition has been treated.

Ibuprofen Hasco is also not recommended for people with renal or hepatic dysfunction and for patients with cardiovascular problems.

Ibuprofen Hasco should not be used by patients with hemorrhagic diathesis and a tendency to bleeding from the cerebral vessels.

Ibuprofen Hasco must also not be administered if the patient is severely dehydrated, for example as a result of vomiting or diarrhea.

Ibuprofen Hasco is not recommended for pregnant women, especially in the third trimester.

Hasco ibuprofen should also not be given to children under 6 years of age.

Dosage of Ibuprofen Hasco

The dosage of Hasco Ibuprofen most often is as follows:

Adults and children over 12 years of age 1-2 capsules of the drug every 4 hours or 400 mg of the drug every 6 hours. A daily dose of 1200 mg of ibuprofen should not be exceeded.

In the case of migraine headaches, a dose of 400 mg of ibuprofen (2 capsules of Ibuprofen Hasco) is used once. This dose can be repeated after 6 hours if necessary. A daily dose of 6 capsules of 200 mg of Ibuprofen Hasco should not be exceeded.

For menstrual pain, usually take 1-2 capsules of Ibuprofen Hasco up to 3 times a day.

In the case of pain related to rheumatoid arthritis, a single dose of up to 600 mg of Ibuprofen Hasco up to 3 times a day is used. The maximum dose of the drug is 2400 mg per day.

In the case of children under 12 years of age, 200 mg of Ibuprofen Hasco (1 tablet) is administered every 8 hours. The maximum dose is 600 mg per day.

Ibuprofen Hasco should not be given to children whose body weight is less than 20 kg.

Ibuprofen Hasco capsules should be taken with or after a meal. They should not be sucked, chewed or crushed. Swallow the capsules whole with a drink of water.

Side effects of Ibuprofen Hasco

In people allergic to acetylsalicylic acid and other non-steroidal inflammatory drugs, taking a dose of Ibuprofen Hasco may cause an allergic reaction in the form of an asthma attack or allergic skin reactions and rhinitis.

Precautions when using Ibuprofen Hasco

Ibuprofen Hasco is recommended to be administered in the lowest possible dose for the shortest possible time. It should not be combined with taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Ibuprofen Hasco should not be used after the expiry date stated on the package. The preparation should be stored at room temperature in a tightly closed container, out of the sight and reach of children.
