  8. Patients suffering from bronchial asthma or with symptoms of allergic reactions after taking acetylsalicylic acid (due to the risk of sudden bronchospasm), as well as people taking other medications (especially drugs that lower blood pressure, diuretics, cardiac and psychotropic or anticoagulants, such as warfarin) should see a doctor before using Ibum Extra.
  9. The occurrence of side effects increases especially in the elderly, so they should take the lowest dose for the shortest possible time.
  10. Taking the drug may cause occasional visual disturbance (such cases have been reported), in this situation a doctor should be consulted.
  11. It is recommended not to take ibuprofen together with ulcerative drugs and drugs that increase the risk of bleeding (anti-aggregating drugs, e.g. acetylsalicylic acid, warfarin, corticosteroids).
  12. People with circulatory insufficiency, cirrhosis and renal failure, and elderly patients should monitor the volume of urine excreted when starting treatment.
  13. Taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can lead to kidney failure.

  3. The presence of pseudoephedrine precludes taking the preparation simultaneously with tricyclic antidepressants and sympathomimetic drugs (decongestants of the blood vessels of the mucous membranes), drugs that suppress appetite and psychotropic drugs similar to amphetamines, antihypertensive drugs (pseudoephedrine may reduce the effect of these antihypertensive drugs).
  4. An increase in blood pressure may occur when the drug is taken simultaneously with general anesthetics.
  5. Before the planned general anesthesia, the treatment should be stopped 24 hours before it.
