Ibiza (Ibiza)

Sambuca Ibiza is still very young: the recipe was created just over ten years ago. However, the drink is of such high quality that it has already received an award at one of the prestigious competitions. Despite the fact that “Ibiza” is produced not in Italy, but at the Chernihiv Distillery, even the adherents of traditions admit that this liqueur is not inferior to the famous Italian sambuca neither in taste nor in the design of the bottle.

Ibiza is a transparent colorless sambuca with a strength of 42 degrees, for the manufacture of which they use rectified alcohol of the “Lux” class, artesian water, star anise, elder flowers, star anise and citrus fruits. The taste of the liqueur is moderately sweet, the drink harmoniously combines notes of anise and lemon zest.

The production of Ibiza Sambuca began in 2005. And already in 2007, the liquor received an award at the World Spiritus Ukraine 2007 competition.

Historical reference. In the last decade of the XNUMXth century, the era of fakes began in the CIS. The words “sambuca, bitter, amaretto” sounded mysterious and romantic, but few could afford to buy good imported alcohol. The alcohol market was flooded with bright bottles of unknown origin with suspicious contents. And hyperinflation has practically finished off bona fide producers of alcoholic beverages.

In the late 90s, several Ukrainian businessmen founded Brandbar LLC. The partners immediately decided that, no matter what difficulties await them, they will produce only high-quality drinks, comparable in all characteristics to the best imported analogues.

Brendbar technologists studied the features of the production of sambuca in the homeland of anise liqueur – in Italy. Here, in full accordance with the traditions, a recipe for a new sambuca was created. As conceived by the company’s management, it was supposed to be a holiday drink, and the name for it came up with the appropriate one: Ibiza is a Spanish island where fun never stops.

Equipment for the production of Ibiza sambuca was installed at the Chernihiv distillery, which has been producing various varieties of vodka and liquors since 1860. This enterprise was chosen for two reasons: firstly, the employees had sufficient qualifications to master the new technology in the shortest possible time. Secondly, the plant owns an artesian well with very clean and soft water.
