“I no longer tolerate those who do not deserve my patience”

Portuguese coach, author of self-help books on how to stop wasting mental energy and focus on the main thing in your life.

“I am no longer ready to endure everything that life sends. The point is not that I have become arrogant, but that I have reached the point where it becomes a pity to spend time on something that does not belong to the soul, that hurts, writes José Micar Teixeira on his Facebook page. — I do not tolerate cynicism, unjustified criticism and exactingness of any kind.

I’ve lost the will to please those who don’t like me, love those who don’t like me, and smile at people who never smile back. I no longer waste a single minute on liars and manipulators. I leave if I see pretense, hypocrisy and cheap flattery next to me.

I can’t stand superficial erudition or the arrogance of scientists. Gossip disgusts me. I don’t like rivalry and comparisons. I believe that the world is made up of opposites, and therefore I avoid people with a rigid, inflexible mindset. In friendship, loyalty attracts me and betrayal repels me. I do not communicate with those who do not know how to compliment or say words of support.

Exaggerations and extremes bore me. It’s hard for me to accept those who don’t like animals. But above all, I no longer tolerate those who do not deserve my patience.”
