“I’m 44, but I wear baby clothes”: the problems of thin women

The Englishwoman told what difficulties miniature people have.

A resident of the English city of Brentwood in the county of Essex complains of condemnation from her fellow countrymen. Those, Nicky Rodriguez admits, constantly ask what she is sick with and whether she has an eating disorder. It’s all about Nicky’s unusual appearance: despite the fact that she is over 40 years old, the woman looks like a teenager.

– I don’t call anyone fat aloud, – says Nicky. “And I’m even less asking why he’s so fat!” However, literally everyone I meet starts a conversation with me with the words “You are so thin! Do you have some kind of illness? ”

This, of course, annoys and surprises how tactless and rude others are. The woman has long been accustomed to how they react to her in children’s stores, where she often buys clothes. She is also constantly mistaken for her daughter’s sister, who is only 17 years old.

Nicky wears the 32nd clothing size and considers a fast metabolism and good genetics to be the main reason for her slimness. Her grandmother also looked 40 when she was 70.

The woman admits that many of the same age openly envy and hate her for her slim figure. While they are dieting and shedding seven sweats in the gyms, Nicky eats everything and in any quantity: “A couple of weeks ago I was presented with a pink dress with a corset, but my boyfriend Ray, who is 47, refused to wear it. He says everyone will think that I am his daughter. ” By the way, sometimes Nicky changes clothes with Ray’s children, who are 10 and 11 years old.

From the outside, the life of slender Nika is a real fairy tale: an excellent figure, youthful appearance and a sea of energy. However, the woman complains that the choice of clothing models in her size is not so great and she always dreamed of being a little larger.

Another problem for Niki is the inability to buy champagne in the store without presenting an identity card. Many will find this funny, but not Nicky, who has to get documents every time for many years.

– When people ask how I manage to look so young, I usually joke that I have a good surgeon, – Nicky laughs. – But, to be honest, I did not do any cosmetic surgeries or procedures. Last year, my friend and I went to Cyprus, went there to a disco in a youth club, and the security let us through. The people didn’t notice that I’m not 20, can you imagine? The guys came up to meet us, but we answered that we could be their mothers, so nothing will come of it.

Nicky admits that sometimes she wants to respond rudely to unceremonious questions about her weight. Say, for example, “Maybe you should stop eating pies at night instead of talking about my figure and being jealous?”

But she restrains herself and instead of swearing she just goes to have something to eat.

I have a great healthy appetite and I am a happy woman. I am happy in my business, in my relationships and in my … weight.
