Local gastronomy and local products will be the protagonists of this first professional meeting.
The Mediterranean city of Castellón de la Plana, celebrates during the next 13 and 14 April the I Gastronomy & Wine Congress Castellón is More.
The City Council, in collaboration with the Provincial Council, sponsor the gastronomic event, with the clear vision of positioning the province and its products as the center of culinary activity.
The congress will be a perfect showcase for the products of the “Flavor Route” to share their place with the trade fair visitors.
The place chosen by the organizers for the celebration of the two professional days, will be the Tourist Center (CdT) of the Degree, where more than 300 congressmen will be able to show and value their marine, terrestrial or oenological products, not in vain in this first edition, wine and food share the stage.
Within the program of activities of the two days of celebrations, you will be able to attend the lectures, showcookings, tastings and workshops that will be taught by professionals of the sector and renowned Chefs awarded with the most prestigious international recognitions such as Michelin stars, as the Technical Director of the congress and Chef of Cal Paradis, Miguel Barrera.
What we wanted was to promote and value our products, our cuisine and for people to get to know Castellón even more, outside of our province ”, he added.
Local participation is completed by culinary artists Luis Arrufat, Pedro Salas, Modesto Fabregat and Chema Guerrero, all of them great connoisseurs of the gastronomic culture of Castellón.
As for the national references, chefs such as Ricard Camarena, Bernd Knöller, Kiko Moya, Manu Alonso or Luis Arévalo.
All decked out and prepared to show the rich and extensive Castellonense gastronomy to the rest of visitors from all over the Iberian Peninsula and other nationalities.
