I did home blood tests. It all took only a few minutes [TEST]

We live in a time when time is at a premium. As a result, we are not always able to reach a doctor or do preventive examinations – even if we want to take care of our health and are not afraid of a needle. It was similar in my case, but I decided on a specific solution: I arranged for a blood donation at home. How it’s working? Let me explain.

In Poland, too few people regularly check their health. Poles poorly adhere to the recommendations of experts in the field of disease prevention and a healthy lifestyle. Life expectancy in our country decreased by one and a half years in 2020 compared to 2019. Recently, such a poor result was recorded a decade ago. If we want to live longer and enjoy better health, we should introduce changes in everyday life as soon as possible, switch to a healthier diet, increase physical activity, and most importantly – take care of regular preventive examinations. It is worth starting with the latter – this was also the case in my case.

I made an appointment for home blood donation

I arranged a home blood sampling via medonetmarket.pl. Thanks to the cooperation with uPacjenta.pl, you will find a lot of research available on this marketplace. What was the home blood donation like?

After a few hours, approx. On the 17th, I found that I was checking if the tests were already in place. Somewhere in the back of my head I heard – wait a moment longer, it is impossible that after five hours they will be online. However, this voice was wrong. The results were available. The tests turned out well, but I consulted a doctor to be sure. What does it mean? Of course, calm. I do not have to be afraid or wonder if my health is OK, which I wish to readers of this text.

Considering that the appointment and collection took me about five minutes in total, I think it was definitely worth it. The whole thing did not break my daily rhythm, I did not have to stand in traffic jams or wait in line, and most importantly – I did not have to worry about COVID-19 infection in the clinic.
