I can’t cure ringworm

I have mycosis, for four years I treated with all possible medications and the problem usually came back within 2 weeks.

Only in January this year I had the first smear in which it came out: a very abundant growth of Candida, Enterococcus faecalis and streptococcus agalactiae and gram (-) rods. The doctor prescribed me betadine, fluomizin, pimafucin vaginally and 1x Flucofast 150 mg orally. Vaginal discharge, itching and burning … still the same. I am also concerned about a slight white coating on my tongue, usually after waking up, and a metallic taste in my mouth, a very unpleasant smell. Shouldn’t I do more research? Maybe the cause is mycosis or an infection from the gastrointestinal tract? Shouldn’t I be prescribed an antibiotic for my current ailments? Nothing helps, I’ve already lost hope of any improvement. I’ve already taken vitamin B complex, aloe vera and cranberry juice, supportive probiotics, but no improvement. Now I have bought colloidal silver with the hope that it will aid my current treatment. – Agnes

From the description you have presented, it appears that you currently suffer from mixed, fungal and aerobic bacterial vaginosis. These are common infections, unfortunately very often recurring. Systemic drugs (Flucofast) and local drugs prescribed by a doctor (other drugs, probably in the form of globules) cover the spectrum of microorganisms grown in the culture, so it is worth waiting patiently for a few more days for their effect. During the treatment, I would recommend refraining from using additional preparations, especially those with clinically unproven effectiveness (such as colloidal silver). After the infection is cured, it is important to consider long-term, topical use of lactobacilli capsules, which restore the normal composition of the vaginal flora. If there is no improvement, consideration should be given to more intensive oral antifungal therapy and antibacterial therapy such as clindamycin or according to the antibiogram.

In the case of so frequently recurring infections, it is necessary to consider their possible causes, as there are many factors that disrupt the normal vaginal microflora and increase the risk of frequent infections. They include, among others diabetes, pregnancy, obesity, immunosuppressive treatment, steroid therapy, antibiotic therapy, hormonal disorders (e.g. during menopause), use of tampons, vaginal irrigation, frequent changes of sexual partners, having sex without a condom. Therefore, in addition to medications, it is also worth using, if possible, modification of hygiene habits or sexual behavior.

If you are looking for an alternative to tampons, try Loffme’s eco-friendly reusable pads and liners. After use, products can be washed in a washing machine or by hand. They come in various colors and sizes. Order:

  1. set of reusable sanitary napkins;
  2. a set of reusable sanitary napkins and panty liners;
  3. Antibacterial reusable panty liner;
  4. reusable panty liner;
  5. reusable ecological sanitary napkin.
