PSYchology

Author — A.P. Egides. The book «How to understand people, or the Psychological drawing of personality»

The hysteroid puts its own hysteroid order in things. At the same time, he, first of all, seems to follow the laws of beauty. He is an esthete. He also knows etiquette, in this he is also an esthete, the hysteroid carefully observes the rules of etiquette, boasts of it, makes comments about the person who has violated etiquette. It can even humiliate him: there is nothing, they say, to climb with a pig’s snout into a kalachny row. He even likes to belittle others precisely in relation to the culture of behavior, but he does not know that by doing this he himself violates the psychological culture of communication. However, in general, he likes to «make people beautiful.» And he wants to be «made beautifully.» In clothes, in an apartment, in books — the hysteroid has everything in order in accordance with fashion and beauty in his understanding.

The paranoid and epileptoid have an expedient, rational order, while the hysteroid has an irrational order, even sometimes uncomfortable, but “beautiful”. His books are arranged by covers, by series, by the fashion of writers, by the popularity of works, but not by content, like a paranoid one.

In general, the aesthetics of life, clothing, manners, image plays a big role in the life of a hysteroid.

The order maintained by the hysteroid in the material and human world is dictated by fashion trends, glossy magazines, advertising brochures, the habits of favorite actors, writers, and sometimes political leaders.

You can also say this: the hysteroid loves external order or even disorder, if only this contributes to focusing attention on himself.

The hysteroid rather likes to break the order in relations with people: he likes to “play pranks”, to play hooligans, so that everyone notices it.

A well-known opera singer, spectacularly dressed, in jackboots, in a hat “with mourning feathers”, crosses Tverskaya Street at the widest point, cutting the way for cars with her embarrassed companion, and gives a visiting card to the policeman who came up: they say, you will be in the Bolshoi, where I sing, come in, don’t be shy.

But that’s something else … Finding himself with the same companion in the National restaurant and not finding a free table, he sits down with him, even more embarrassed (this is what it is designed for), at the already served table and begins to eat one of the dishes prepared for the guests, and approached the head waiter, smiling sweetly, hands over a business card, reciting approximately the same words.
