PSYchology

Author — A.P. Egides. The book «How to understand people, or the Psychological drawing of personality»

Hysteroids love humor, they accept it with pleasure, they like to laugh in response to someone else’s joke. They understand jokes very well and accept them if these jokes are not directed at them, they also understand comedic humor. And the hysteroid laughs along with everyone when he sees something funny in life. Laughs out loud, contagious and contagious. Or maybe it’s unnatural, mannered, stiffly laughing — depending on where the kind of laughter is accepted.

But his sense of humor is not good enough — everything is borrowed. An hysteroid can come up with few witty moves, for this you need to be a schizoid. But he loves to joke. He, like the paranoid one, picks up sharpness like “in short, Sklifosofsky” and throws them right and left. On April Fool’s Day, an hysteroid can come up with a simple prank like “go to the accounting department for a bonus”, and there a person is laughed at or sincerely not understood. His jokes are well played, with modulations in his voice, so he succeeds in pranks, people believe them.

Humor hysteroid directs more often at a partner than up at anyone, to show off, so that everyone can see what a wit he is, does not go into his pocket for a word, can answer a joke with a joke or is the first to laugh at someone, challenging him to a humorous duel.

An hysteroid can make you laugh on purpose, he knows a lot of jokes — he picked them up in different companies, sometimes he even wrote them down for future use, so that later he would amuse others with jokes. He can direct humor even at himself in order to make the audience laugh, he scoffs, but rather not for the purpose of psycho-defense, but simply fools around to attract attention, and with him this is really antics, and not assuming the forced role of a jester, as is often the case with hyperthyma, schizoid or sensitive. The hysteroid can be deliberately clumsy, fall, substituting his own leg.

He tolerates jokes in his address worse than hyperthymia, but still better than paranoid. The hysteroid knows that it is necessary to understand humor, to have a sense of humor, and may even act out the pleasure of a joke addressed to him, but then he will take revenge at a convenient moment.

If the hysteroid is made the object of a joke, he will fight back more gracefully than hyperthym. From that, in general, humor is like water off a duck’s back: he jokes plainly and stupidly, but without offense.

But one hysteroid named Clara suffered terribly from the fact that every fool, getting to know her, immediately joked: how, they say, with your corals, clarinet and Karl. In the classes on the psychotechnics of communication, she was suggested the idea of answering using other tongue twisters: “You really don’t treat me like a Kolpakovsky”, “Everything is fine with corals, but the curls have already run out, only murls remain. Should you wrap your murals or will you convey them like that? — and everything worked out.

Hysteroids have developed intonational humor, that is, not a humorous phrase, but intonation, ironic imposingness like: “Well, of course, thank you very much for stepping on my foot.”

Let’s warn the hysteroids: if you compete with a schizoid, then, perhaps, just tease him and he will give you a portion of pepper, making fun of the full program, since he produces humor, and you only quote.
