Hylo Parin

Hylo-Parin is used to moisturize the cornea and conjunctiva of the eye, reducing the symptoms of eye irritation caused by external factors. The active substance of the drug is hyaluronic acid. Hylo-Parin is in the form of over-the-counter eye drops.

Hylo-Parin – indications and dosage

Hylo-Parin indications for use:

  1. moisturizing the cornea and conjunctiva of the eye,
  2. reducing the symptoms of eye irritation caused by external factors,
  3. watery, burning and itchy eyes,
  4. staying / working in air-conditioned, dusty rooms, working in front of a computer or watching TV.

Dosage

  1. 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of each eye several times a day.

Hylo-Parin – contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation is a contraindication to the use of Hylo-Parin.

Hylo-Parin – warnings

  1. If you need to use Hylo-Parin more often (more than 10 times a day) or if your symptoms persist for a long time, consult your doctor.
  2. Hylo-Parin is very well tolerated as it does not contain a preservative.
  3. You can use the medicine with all types of contact lenses.
  4. Hylo-Parin can be used by children, pregnant women and during breastfeeding.
  5. After opening the package, use the drug within 6 months.
  6. Do not use the preparation after the expiry date.
  7. Keep Hylo-Parin out of the reach of small children.
  8. Store the drops at room temperature.

Hylo-Parin – interactions with other preparations

  1. If other eye drops are used, leave an interval of at least 30 minutes and Hylo-Parin should be instilled last.
  2. Eye ointments should always be used after the administration of Hylo-Parin.
  3. If it is necessary to use eye drops containing gentamicin at the same time, an interval of at least one hour should be observed between the use of both preparations, due to the fact that gentamicin administered simultaneously with heparin may cause sedimentation in the conjunctival sac.
