Hylo-Comod – indications, dosage, contraindications, side effects

Hylo-Comod is a drug used in conditions of dryness of the eyeball, the feeling of a foreign body or burning in the eye, also in the case of using hard or soft contact lenses. The preparation contains hyaluronic acid. Hylo-Comod comes in the form of eye drops and can be dispensed without a prescription.

Hylo-Comod – indications and dosage

Hylo-Comod is a preparation without a preservative that is used in:

  1. dry eyeball
  2. the feeling of a foreign body or a burning sensation in the eye,
  3. If you use hard or soft contact lenses.

Dosage

  1. 3 × / d or more often, should be administered into the conjunctival sac.

Hylo-Comod and contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation is a contraindication to the use of Hylo-Comod.

Hylo-Comod – warnings

After the first opening of the immediate packaging, Hylo-Comod is usable for 12 weeks.

Hylo-Comod with other medications

  1. If other eye drops are used, leave at least 30 minutes to apply Hylo-Comod, which should be given last.
  2. Eye ointments should always be used after instillation of Hylo-Comod.

Hylo-Comod – side effects

In isolated cases, hypersensitivity reactions (burning, tearing) may occur during the use of Hylo-Comod.
