External Description
First convex, then flat, with a depression in the center, covered with pointed tiny scales with jagged edges. Dry bright red surface of the cap, turning yellow towards the edge. A thin, slightly curved or cylindrical stem, covered at the base with a whitish thick coating. Fragile flesh whitish-yellowish color. White spores.

Inedible.
