It is important not to deepen the root collar. The soil must remain loose. After planting, the soil is moistened and fertilized. When choosing a landing site, you should pay attention to some factors:

  • Illumination – the plant needs sunlight to preserve the bright shade of the inflorescences. Growing in partial shade is acceptable;
  • Lack of drafts – heat-loving bush does not tolerate strong winds;
  • Green spaces – moisture-loving hydrangea does not tolerate proximity to plants that consume a lot of liquid. It is planted next to ground cover flowers.

Shrub care involves abundant watering, feeding and pruning. He needs a lot of fertilizer.

Hydrangeas are grown in single and mixed plantings. The variety “Diamond Rouge” will become an accent among garden plantings.
