Hyabak – composition, purpose, method of use, contraindications. Over-the-counter eye drops

Hyabak drops are an over-the-counter hypotonic solution produced by Laboratoires Thea. The product is available only in the form of eye drops and contact lenses that do not contain preservatives. Hyabak drops moisturize our eyes and provide them with faster relief.

The composition of Hyabak drops

The hypotonic solution contains: 0,15 g of sodium hyaluronate, 0,20 g of actinokinol, 0,57 g of sodium chloride, 0,121 g of trometamol, hydrochloric acid, pH = 7,2.

The destiny of Hyabak drops

Hyabak drops are intended for moisturizing the eyes in case of dryness and fatigue. Symptoms of this type can be caused by factors such as, for example: wind, dust, smoke, pollution, prolonged work in front of a computer, staying in air-conditioned rooms. Hyabak drops provide quick relief to tired, irritated, red and burning eyes. In addition, they soothe the effect of excessive tearing and the feeling of a foreign body under the eyelids. A hypotonic solution is also used to moisten contact lenses, making them easier to put on and take off, and to moisten the eye while wearing them.

Usage and dosage of Hyabak drops

The way to use Hyabak drops is very simple. Typically, one drop of the hypotonic solution is applied to each eye, two or three times a day. However, there is no specific dose for the use of the drops, so we should use them as often as the situation requires. Contact lens wearers may experience eye drops when putting on or removing lenses and while wearing them.

Immediately after applying the eye drops, close the eyelids and gently press the paranasal corner of the eyelid fissure with your finger for about 1 minute. During this time, we should try not to blink our eyes.

Contraindications to the use of Hyabak drops

Certain diseases and the parallel use of other drugs may constitute a contraindication to the use of the preparation. In case of any doubts or problems, please contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately. Hyabak drops can not be used if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of the preparation.

What side effects can Hyabak drops cause?

Using Hyabak does not mean that we don’t have to wear sunglasses. The product should be stored out of the reach of children and at a temperature below 25 ° C. An open bottle of the preparation cannot be stored for more than 3 months.
