Humana Electrolyte is a dietary supplement recommended for the prevention and treatment of dehydration associated with diarrhea.

Application of the preparation

Humana Elektrolit is in the form of a powder for oral suspension. The contents of the sachet should be dissolved in 250 ml of water or tea, e.g. chamomile or dill. In the event of vomiting or more severe symptoms, administer the solution more frequently, in small portions. Only the dill flavored formula should be used in infants up to 12 months of age.

Rehydration procedure in the first 6–12 hours:

  1. children 1-12. month of life 50-100 ml / kg bw. in 3-8 servings,
  2. children after 12 months of age 50-150 ml / kg bw. in 2-8 portions of 200 ml,
  3. adults 20-40 ml / kg bw.
