Human development is a qualitative change in its physical, mental and mental characteristics.
More often, the source of development is something external — parenting, the influence of the environment, the requirements of professional growth, the challenges of life … Development usually occurs in waves, in a spiral.
The real source of development is from outside
If a boy gains weight simply because the food he eats is digested in him, this is growth. Growth happens on its own, from within. It depends little on the will of the boy and those around him — just do not interfere and better create conditions. For growth, the external environment creates the conditions, but the cause of growth is inside.
If a teacher teaches me, adds new knowledge to me, my task is to create conditions for the teacher: come, listen to him and do what he says. The student is the condition, the cause and the true source of the student’s knowledge is the teacher. The teacher ensures the overall development of the student. When the real source of change is outside, it is not about growth, but about learning and development.
