How will the rent bills change from July 1

From July 1, tariffs for housing and communal services will increase. We found out how much the amount in the payment will increase.

Changes to prices in 2019 will take place in two stages. In January, there was already a rise in price by 1,7 percent. Now the amount will increase by another 2,4 percent. The reason for the increase is the change in the VAT rate from 18 to 20 percent. At the same time, limit price growth indices have been established in each region.

For the first time, Moscow tariffs for heating, water supply and sanitation were approved for a five-year period, until 2024. They will be indexed annually on July 1.

Until 2024, the heating tariff will grow on average by 2,31 percent per year, the cost of hot water – by 2,95 percent. For cold water supply, the average price increase until 2024 will be 3,62 percent. The payment for wastewater disposal is expected to be increased annually by an average of 4,12 percent.

Prices from July 1

Отопление will rise in price toRUB 1864,3 for 1 Gcal (if the house is serviced by Mosenergo). The old price is 1803,24 rubles / Gcal. At the Moscow United Energy Company, the tariff will grow to 1904,28 rubles / Gcal. Now it is 1837,51 rubles / Gcal.

Cold water will cost 40,48 rubles / m3, the previous price – 38,70 rubles / m3. The cost of water disposal will be 29,57 rubles / m3. The previous price was 27,47 rubles / m3.

In New Moscow, tariffs vary by district. You can clarify them on the mos.ru website.

Electricity cost will depend on the type of kitchen stove (gas or electric) and metering devices. In some cases, rates will not change.

Preferential terms

Having received a receipt for payment of utility bills for July, check how much of the family’s income is the total amount. If it exceeds 10 percent of your total earnings, you are eligible for the subsidy. To register it, you need to contact the center of public services “My Documents” with an application.

It is necessary to provide a document on the basis of which you live in an apartment, certificates of income of all family members and information about the absence of arrears in payment for utility bills (those who ignore the transfer of money are not assigned a subsidy). The term for the provision of the service is 23 working days.

Pensioners do not need to provide income certificates.
