In Our Country, this holiday was and remains the most important. And the most beloved! Including because long vacations are attached to it. Read how we rest for the New Year 2023

In December, the pre-holiday turmoil, Christmas tree decorations, and the purchase of gifts will already begin. You won’t have time to look back, but the New Year is already coming. With all the weekends that come with it. Therefore, it is necessary to plan how we will rest for the New Year in advance.

This year they will be especially “rich”. At least the New Year holidays are for sure: the Ministry of Labor decided to throw in a few extra days, and the Government of the Federation supported the initiative. Read below why exactly, and how much we will rest in the end.

But first, a little background. With the initiative to shorten the New Year holidays in Our Country, people’s deputies come forward every year. The last time a bill to reduce vacations to two days – December 31 and January 1 – was submitted to the State Duma several years ago.

The logic of the legislators is simple: for every day of the New Year’s “downtime”, the country’s economy loses tens of billions of rubles. And long vacations do not favorably affect the health of s. Of course, our people like to relax in the company of alcohol.

However, the bill was once again “rolled”. As it turned out, the initiative to have less rest does not arouse enthusiasm among the people. Only 20% of the citizens of our country are ready to support short holidays, while 71% of s are categorically against the cancellation of the New Year holidays.

Analysts at Superjob came to this conclusion. They concluded that s love long holidays and are not ready to sacrifice a single day off.

So we rested, we rested and we will rest!
